ENG | Last round-up for this 2017 edition of Mini B Motion and dance seen from a child’s perspective. The drawings reiterate all the joy and energy of Chiara Frigo’s performance, immortalised with her cropped, raffish, rufous hair, while setting-up her Himalayan Base Camp. Some portrayed her arching her back to form a miraculous bridge, some showed her upside down, some drew her with legs stretched upwards. One of them opted to express the gist of the show, summing it up conceptually in words (“You can always rise again”); another drew the stairs, the scene’s main prop and symbol of reascension; one rendered the coloured balloons. Some of them focused on the performer’s femininity, portraying her softly in pencil, whilst others revealed a more impetuous, masculine side with vigorous strokes and vibrant colours. Some of them drew her face in the foreground. Others design her full-figure, filling-up the entire sheet, a few left most of the space empty. Everyone imbued their coloured page with a keen spirit of carefreeness and optimism.
