Gretel told Hansel: “There’s no hope for us.”
“Stop it Gretel” said Hansel “don’t despair, I’ll come up with something, you’ll see”.
Hansel got up, put on her jacket, half-closed the door and slipped out.
The moon was shining bright and the white pebbles in front of the house glowed like many coins.

Day after day, in-between shows, interviews and in-depth studies we have come to the last day of this dense week of Bmotion dance.
Even today, through the works of James Batchelor, Alessandro Sciarroni, Pablo Leyton, Satchie Noro and Silvain Ohl, Francesca Foscarini, Simon Mayer, scheduled from early afternoon till the evening, we’ll keep letting our “pebbles” fall, with which, right from the beginning of this edition, we tried to find our bearings on the world map that, as we have seen during the festival, dance creates and lets us discover, and about which it encourages us to reflect and question ourselves.

The aim, “that guided our steps”, wasn’t that of finding a truth or absolute definitions, but rather that of underlining the different aspects of this vast world , and the many urgencies that bring artists, professionals and audience together through dance.

We leave you with the choice of following, like many Hansels and Gretels, the path more akin or still unknown to you, shown by the “pebbles” that we’ve pointed out below, and with which, in the following weeks, we’ll keep labelling our contributions and those of the special guests of this edition of B.motion dance.
