Cos’è #dancecompanion?
Una nuova iniziativa dedicata al pubblico della danza, sviluppatasi nell’ambito del progetto europeo Pivot Dance e in collaborazione con il corso triennale del Balletto di Roma: 14 giovani danzatori sono diventati speciali accompagnatori nelle giornate di #bmotion2016, invitando gli spettatori ad assistere insieme alle rappresentazioni di danza in programma e a discutere e condividere le rispettive impressioni subito dopo gli spettacoli. Gli stessi accompagnatori sono stati chiamati anche a riflettere, in veste di artisti, sugli spettacoli e darne un feedback sul nostro blog attraverso la creazione di un profilo dello spettatore, che riflette il punto di vista dello spettatore, e un profilo del danzatore che rifletta più il punto di vista di come un artista usufruisce lo spettacolo.

La somiglianza tra i due corpi che danzano è ciò che colpisce subito il pubblico. L’ampia libertà interpretativa dello spettacolo lascia lo spettatore di qualunque età autonomo di dare diverse letture. Inoltre, anche il giovane pubblico è rimasto colpito dalla performance che, con la sua ricchezza, è riuscito a trasformare un non canonico setting, il museo, e un semplice e crudo abito in qualcosa di valore, facendo apparire tutto un’unica opera d’arte.

What is #dancecompanion?
A new way to involve the dance audience inside of the european project Pivot Dance and in collaboration withe the three-years contemporary dance course of Balletto di Roma: 14 young dancers became special “companion” during #bmotion2016, inviting the audience to see the show together with one fo them and to discuss about it at the end. The companion also gave us a personal feedback on the shows from the point of view of the dancers/artist.

What capture the audience’s attention is the similarity between the two bodies who dance. The wide freedom of interpretation of the show makes the audience of any age free to give different readings. Moreover, also the young audience was impressed by the performance. The show managed to turn an unusual setting, the museum, and a simple dress into something important, with its richness, making it appear like a work of art.

Riportiamo inoltre qui di seguito la recensione sullo spettacolo di Maria Gioia Fabiano del gruppo Dance Companion, che ha avuto la possibilità di parlare con alcuni dei partecipanti al progetto Mini B.Motion 2016, di 11 anni. Ecco cosa ne pensano:
“Ben strutturata, adeguata ed inaspettata” sono state queste le parole usate da tre ragazze poco più che undicenni, per descrivere «Prometeo: il dono» della Bertozzi. Ciò che ha colpito maggiormente questo pubblico così giovane è stato il modo in cui le due danzatrici hanno usato lo spazio (il museo), sfruttandolo al meglio, valorizzandosi e creando un’unica grande opera d’arte. Il commento finale della chiacchierata con le ragazze è stato riguardo i costumi. Infatti, il loro interesse è stato rapito dalla contrapposizione tra coreografia, molto complessa ed articolata, e l’ abito, semplice ed umile. Fortissimo è stato il potere della danza, che secondo queste ragazze, è stata in grado di abbellire ed arricchire i vestiti e non il contrario come di solito accade.

The following is the review on the Simona Bertozzi performance written by Maria Gioia Fabiano, one of the Dance Companion group. She talked to some of the participants 11 years old of the Mini B.Motion programme. below you can read what they think:
The three words used by some girls aged around eleven to describe the «Prometeo: il dono» were: well structured, appropriate, and unexpected. The young audience was impressed mostly by the way that the dancers used in a right way the space (the museum), bringing out themselves and creating a single great work of art. The final comment was about the costumes. In fact, their interest was catched by the juxtaposition of the choreography, very complex and articulated, and of the dress, simple and humble. Very strong was the power of the dance which, according to these girls, was able to beautify and enrich the clothes and not the opposite as usually happens.
