Cos’è #dancecompanion?
Una nuova iniziativa dedicata al pubblico della danza, sviluppatasi nell’ambito del progetto europeo Pivot Dance e in collaborazione con il corso triennale del Balletto di Roma: 14 giovani danzatori sono diventati speciali accompagnatori nelle giornate di #bmotion2016, invitando gli spettatori ad assistere insieme alle rappresentazioni di danza in programma e a discutere e condividere le rispettive impressioni subito dopo gli spettacoli. Gli stessi accompagnatori sono stati chiamati anche a riflettere, in veste di artisti, sugli spettacoli e darne un feedback sul nostro blog attraverso la creazione di un profilo dello spettatore, che riflette il punto di vista dello spettatore, e un profilo del danzatore che rifletta più il punto di vista di come un artista usufruisce lo spettacolo.

Inclusione, complicità, umanità: sono queste le parole che si sentono dire tra il pubblico di «Common Emotions». Il muro tra audience e danzatori si sgretola facendo diventare l’intero spazio un immenso palcoscenico. Grazie alla cooperazione tra spettatori anche l’inglese non è più motivo di esclusione e dà la possibilità a tutti di esporsi e partecipare alla realizzazione di questo spettacolo. Abbiamo chiesto ad uno spettatore di riassumere in una frase quello che secondo lui era l’essenza dello spettacolo e lui ci ha risposto: “È un lavoro che fa esistere”, e noi condividiamo.

What is #dancecompanion?
A new way to involve the dance audience inside of the european project Pivot Dance and in collaboration withe the three-years contemporary dance course of Balletto di Roma: 14 young dancers became special “companion” during #bmotion2016, inviting the audience to see the show together with one fo them and to discuss about it at the end. The companion also gave us a personal feedback on the shows from the point of view of the dancers/artist.

Inclusion, complicity, humanity: these are the words that the audience of Common Emotions told us. The wall between the audience and the dancers breaks so the whole space becomes a huge stage. Thanks to cooperation among spectators, English is not anymore a reason of exclusion and it gives the possibility to all people to expose themselves and to participate into the realization of this show. We asked to a spectator to resume in a sentence which is for him the essence of the show and he answered us: “This is a work that allow me to exist” and we share it.
